CONFLUX ECOSYSTEM GRANTS
Conflux will operate 2 separate grant streams (Technical and Growth) with their own application process, review committee and funding tiers.
All applications for Technical and Growth Grants will be submitted via the forum, and each program has their own application template so be sure to complete the correct application template completely before submitting to the forum.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Choose Grants Stream: Review all appropriate materials and your appropriate grant stream.
- Submit Application to Forum: Fill out the corresponding grant application form and submit to the forum. NOTE: FOLLOW THE APPROPRIATE TITLE FORMAT FOR YOUR SELECTED GRANT STREAM.
- Evaluation: A dedicated review lead will review all fully completed applications quarterly.
- Decision: All grants that meet approval criteria will be awarded a grant.
FUNDING TIERS
- Tier 1: Up to $5k for projects that can be completed in less than 1 month. 2 up votes required.
- Tier 2: Up to $15k for projects that can be completed in less than 3 months. 3 up votes required
- Tier 3: Up to $50k for projects that can be completed in less than 6 months. 3 up votes, plus. Conflux Foundation sign-off.
TECHNICAL GRANTS
Technical Grants will run quarterly applications with a focus on building out the Conflux technology stack with OS developer tooling and infrastructure.
Core Infrastructure:
- Core Infrastructure: Wallet software, multisig wallet management, and other tools that enable users to interact directly with Conflux.
- Cross-chain Solutions: Bridges to and from other chains as well as tools that support cross chain interoperability.
- Cross-space Solutions: Bridges between Conflux Space and Conflux eSpace for greater cross space interoperability.
Gamify Stack:
- DeFi: Related to DEX, stablecoins & stable assets, insurance, lending & borrowing, derivatives, yield aggregators, etc.
- NFTs: Related to platforms such as marketplaces and NFT-centric projects such as gaming, PFPs, etc.
- DAOs & Governance: Related to governance platforms such as DAOs and project launchpads (IDOs).
Developer Tooling:
- Developer Tools: Related to SDK development, libraries, tools, oracles & data feeds, and other software that improves the developer experience and productivity.

GROWTH GRANTS
Growth Grants will run quarterly applications with a focus on supporting projects already deployed on Conflux looking to build global communities and launch in global markets by providing grants to support the following activities:
- Community and Marketing: For teams looking to build global teams and execute global marketing strategies.
- Branding & UX: For teams looking for rebranding strategies and UX updates to support global expansion.
- Localization: For teams looking to expand cross borders and cultures.

The funding tier available to localization grant applications depends on how many community standards the project satisfies during their application process. Click here for an overview of our Ecosystem Community Standards.
- Tier 1: Available to projects that do not meet any standards.
- Tier 2: Available to projects that meet some community standards.
- Tier 3: Available to projects that meet all the community standards.
HOW TO APPLY
- Choose Grants Stream: Review all appropriate materials for your selected grant stream.
- Submit Application to Forum: Fill out the corresponding grant application template and submit directly to the Forum.
- Evaluation: The grants committee will review all fully completed applications quarterly.
- Decision: All grants that meet approval criteria will be awarded a grant.
GRANT ONBOARDING
Once a grant meets the approval requirements each project will be assigned to a “Grant Shepherd” who will guide you through your grant and facilitate your onboarding which includes:
- Aligning on grant milestones
- Signing the grant award letter.
- Aligning delivery requirements, instructions for review, and check in expectations.
- Creating an Awardee Post in the Conflux Forum outlining grant details, timelines, deliverables, and budget.
- Conducting an AMA in the Conflux Community.
GRANT DELIVERY
To release payment for each completed milestone, each project must complete the following steps to initiate their milestone review:
- Update forum awardee post with completed milestone details and links to any deliverables.
- Email their “Grant Shepherd” with deliverables for review, and instructions on how to review.
- Exit interview (focused on developers in Technical Grants)
- Facilitate milestone reviews and payments.
COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical and Localization Grants will have their own separate committees, each responsible for the following in their respective grant programs:
- Reviewing and voting on grant proposals
- Assigning a Grant Shepard" to each successful application. Each Shepard is responsible for the success of the grant.
- Conducting milestone reviews as required, and the ‘exit interview’ for projects they are responsible for.
