Tether USDT0 has been officially issued on the Conflux network. As a multichain evolution of USDT, USDT0 is built on LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, designed to create a unified layer of cross-chain liquidity. While maintaining the same trust and value backing as USDT, USDT0 aims to deliver a more efficient and seamless cross-chain experience, allowing USDT to circulate natively across major blockchains.

Before the launch of USDT0, USDT (cUSDT) on the Conflux network was introduced through third-party bridges — these were bridged assets. With native USDT0 now supported on Conflux and directly issued by Tether, users can enjoy the following benefits:
- Lower transaction fees: Native USDT0 operates directly on-chain, reducing intermediary bridging processes and resulting in lower fees.

The conversion from cUSDT to USDT0 will take place gradually across the Conflux ecosystem. For now, cUSDT remains fully functional and supportable within the Conflux network and its related dAPPs.
