ShuttleFlow utilizes Conflux Network as a cross-chain hub to enable seamless flow of different assets across multiple blockchain networks.
ShuttleFlow address: shuttleflow.io/
To shuttle-in and shuttle-out tokens between ETH and Conflux requires two steps:
- From ETH to Conflux (Shuttle-In)
- From Conflux to ETH (Shuttle-Out)
1. From ETH to Conflux (Shuttle-In)
The shuttle-in process takes ETH as an example. The shuttle-in process of assets from other networks to Conflux Network is similar. The specific steps are as follows:
1) Connect wallet
Click “Connect Wallet” to connect ConfluxPortal wallet and MetaMask wallet.
2)Select a network pair
Select Ethereum (from-chain) and Conflux (to-chain) to select the network pair in the drop-down list by clicking on the network logos.
3)Select a token
Select the token to be cross-chained in the token drop-down list; here we take ETH as an example.
Note: Tokens can be viewed in all wallets that support Conflux, such as ConfluxPortal. If the token is not found, you may need to add it manually with the token address and by clicking “adding tokens”.
4)Fill in cross-chain amount and confirm wallet address
Fill in the amount of tokens to be cross-chained, and confirm your receiving wallet address.
Note: Please pay attention to the amount of gas fee when transferring tokens. In order to reserve sufficient gas fees on the Ethereum network, Shuttleflow will reserve 0.15 ETH when clicking maximum.
5)Confirm the transaction on MetaMask
Click “Next”. After confirming the information in the pop-up box, check “I have confirmed the transfer information” and click “Next”.
Note:
-Please make sure that the address is correct
-Cross-chain transaction fees will be deducted from the number of cross-chain transactions
-You need to pay the gas fee of the Ethereum network
In the upgraded ShuttleFlow, transaction confirmation has been increased from one step to two steps, including both transactions for sending and receiving.
-Send transaction
Click “Send” and confirm the transaction in the MetaMask pop-up box. This step may take a while due to Ethereum’s network speed.
-Claim transaction
Click “Claim” and confirm the transaction in the ConfluxPortal pop-up box.
After the on-chain transaction is completed, you will receive cETH in your Conflux wallet.
After the cross-chain transaction is completed, you can click “View in history” to view previous cross-chain transactions. You can also enter the transaction history interface by clicking the icon in the upper right corner and select “All” in the drop-down bar.
After the cross-chain transaction is completed, you can click on the arrow logo to the right of “Confirm on Conflux Tethys” to see the transaction on ConfluxScan block for further information.
After this step is completed, if you need to shuttle-out tokens to ETH, you can proceed to the next step.
2. From Conflux to ETH (Shuttle-Out)
1)Select a network pair
Select Conflux (from-chain) and Ethereum (to-chain) to select the network pair in the drop-down list by clicking on the blockchain network logo. You can also click the switch button if you had Ethereum and Conflux selected from the first step.
2)Fill in cross-chain token amount and confirm wallet address
Fill in the amount of tokens to be cross-chained, and confirm your receiving wallet address.
Note:
- Tokens can be viewed in all wallets that support Conflux, such as ConfluxPortal. If the token is not found, you may need to add it manually with the token address and by clicking “adding tokens”.
- The service fee is set by the current token service provider, and the value may be adjusted at any time. Please complete the operation as soon as possible.
- Please pay attention to the amount of gas fee when transferring tokens. In order to reserve sufficient gas fees on the Conflux network, Shuttleflow will reserve 1 CFX when clicking maximum.
Confirm the receiving wallet address and click “Next”.
3)Confirm the transaction on ConfluxPortal
Click “Next”. After confirming the information in the pop-up box, check “I have confirmed the transfer information” and click “Next”.
Note:
-Please make sure that the address is correct
-Cross-chain transaction fees will be deducted from the number of cross-chain transactions
-You need to pay the gas fee of the Conflux network
- Send transaction
Click “Send” and confirm the transaction in the ConfluxPortal pop-up box. This step may take a while.
- Claim transaction
Click “Claim” and confirm the transaction in the MetaMask pop-up box.
After the on-chain transaction is completed, you will receive ETH in your MetaMask wallet. After the cross-chain transaction is completed, you can click “View in history” to view previous cross-chain transactions. You can also enter the transaction history interface by clicking the icon in the upper right corner and select “All” in the drop-down bar.
Note:
- Please confirm that the wallet address can receive the corresponding token asset, if not, the asset will be lost and can not be retrieved.
- Shuttling-out requires a certain number of block confirmations for the completion of the transaction.
- ShuttleFlow is a truly decentralized product, all user’s private keys are not accessible under any circumstances.
- Your assets are hosted in the smart contracts of ShuttleFlow. The contract has passed a third-party security audit and is protected by the ShuttleFlow Alliance, a multisig cross-chain asset alliance. Even if ShuttleFlow’s own private key is leaked, hackers cannot steal any user assets, and the platform itself cannot do evil.
3. Check your assets on ConfluxPortal
Click on the top-left menu button
Click “Add Token”
Enter and select “cETH”, then click “NEXT”-“Add Tokens”. Now you should be able to see cETH in your ConfluxPortal wallet.
