Precisely is looking for a Senior Visual Designer to collaborate on our visual language and branding for our cross platform products, ideate on new UI foundational elements such as typography, color and iconography, and iterate on existing design patterns and components to improve our user experience.
What you’ll do:
Develop our new icon library, create new icons as needed.
Rapidly explore use of new elements to evolve designs and design patterns.
Create an intuitive visual language, that uses visual elements to convey a message to the user and reflects and amplifies our brand
Evaluate designs and perform heuristic analysis of user interfaces to determine winning patterns to inform design directions.
Define and document our new UI style guide with full range of user interface components; create and populate a style guide framework that is comprehensive and scalable
Create scalable components and patterns that work across multiple work surfaces and platforms and work with complex use-cases and requirements.
Work with interaction designers, user researchers and developers to ensure designs meet user expectations and are implemented correctly.
What you bring to the table:
5 years of relevant professional experience; at least 2-3 years working with Design Systems;
Proven experience in creating visually elegant user interfaces employing graphics, typography, photography, iconography, color, and brand elements.
Proven experience contributing and expanding visual style guides, design languages, and design systems, incl. icons, typography, color, illustrations, etc
Expert focus on detailed aspects of visual design, including iconography, typography, composition, color palette, etc.
Experience working with design system components, thinking in terms of design systems, and making rational and logical design decisions
Expertise in responsive web and native mobile design, with strong understanding of market trends in user interface styles and patterns in responsive web and native mobile.
Ability to create fresh, new conceptual designs and create digital designs that people love to use.
Solid understanding of brand design and architecture
Expert knowledge of Figma
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with other designers as well as cross-functional partners including engineers; and available for all key meetings throughout normal working hours
A strong online portfolio that showcases a variety of work to prove it all.
