AMD GPU Mining, technical or not?

Just a quick question.

Is the lack of support for mining on AMD GPUs a technical issue or has no one written the code yet? If it is the latter, would there be interest in adding a cfxmine version for AMD, maybe using OpenCL?

It should be possible to implement the mining algo using OpenCL, you might not be able to achieve the same performance though.
