Justification: 1) Marketing effort to onboard new users into the Conflux ecosystem with our resale marketplace ecosystem; 2) localize our marketplace infrastructure for the Chinese market with a local server, domain and Chinese translation etc,

Milestones:
Milestone 1 - first 2000 unique wallet creation in July 2025; 1 partner integrated; 5000 website visits - $10K in grant
Milestone 2 - community growth via partnership expansion targeting 7000 unique wallet creation by October 2025; 2 partners integrated or second release with the first partner; 10000 website visits - $5K in grant

Community growth plan:

  1. Brand client, KOL project announcement and social activation via TikTok, RED, WeChat and Instagram. Target impression 1M
  2. User token rewards - users will be rewarded with tokens that can be used towards resale transactions. Target 10K token reward giveaway
  3. User engagement through Instagram and Discord channel. New brand partnership announcements, new product release, limited edition resale opportunities etc. Target - 1000 followers by September

How we provide ongoing value to users and the Conflux ecosystem:

We are demonstrating a new use case of blockchain and onboarding new users into the Conflux ecosystem. While this grant is primarily used towards onboarding new users and facilitating their first purchase, the recurring nature of resale ensures ongoing, long-term engagement such as new transaction activities and new wallet creation within the ecosystem. Our Web2-friendly user interface allows us to bring in new users from Web2, expanding the community base. The network effect of resale also provides exponential growth in on-chain activities driving consistent transactions and wallet creations.

As we integrate more partners and release more inventory, we tap into our partners’ existing customer base and convert them into wallet owners. As the community grows, trading activities ramp up. Our reward system will increase loyalty and incentivize more trading activities. We are a long-term project that looks to grow and scale in the Chinese market and beyond, and hope to achieve that with Conflux.

Overview:

Solaire provides the resale enablement and headless marketplace infrastructure for the retail sector across fashion, collectibles, art, consumer electronics and automobile. By enabling resale functions directly in finished goods, consumers are empowered with a secure peer-to-peer resale capability, while brands are rewarded with royalty and data.

User Base:

Our product is B2B2C. We partner with digital authentication companies to distribute our product to their brand clients. So far, we have partnered with 4 enterprise companies, onboarding $35M GMV / 1M users into our ecosystem.

User Growth:

Value Proposition -

Web3 recommerce infrastructure for Web2 users- our proprietary payment escrow system enables peer-to-peer resale of physical products (coupled with digital ID/NFT) on-chain. Solution can be white-labeled for any partners.

Sector-agnostic - our back-end infrastructure serves all sectors with resale demand. Especially in high volume sectors such as collectibles, consumer electronics and automobile parts.

GTM
Partnership with digital authentication companies to add value to their services. Our product allows their brand clients to monetize from the authentication solutions, generating recurring ROI.

Competitive Landscape:

Traditional resale marketplaces such as eBay and StockX. Solaire guarantees authenticity from the source and offers a much smoother user experience and lower fees.

Traditional resale enablement solutions such as Archive, Treet. They allow brands to host resale on their own website (not on blockchain), they are unable to track products post its first resale and sales that happen outside of the website. Also expensive for brands to take on the operation and logistics burden.

Technology:

Consumer wallet running on EVM; wallet-to-wallet (peer-to-peer) resale suite which includes on-chain escrow system, logistics and dispute management. A Web2 user experience without the complexity of Web3. Everything is available white-labeled via API/SDK.

Traction:

8 enterprise authentication partners signed, bringing in a total of 2000+ brands.
US partners - Perks (sports collectibles), $35K GMV - 1000+ users
EU partners - Kezzler (fashion) $25M GMV - 50000+ users; Selinko (electronics) $20M GMV - 30000+ users
China - stealth $10M GMV - 200,000+ users

Wallet has been used and tested by 1000+ customers with proven track record and superb user feedback. The physical/digital mechanism has been tested recording 1000+ transactions.

Stage of the project:
Product MVP V2 launched in May 2024. V2 improved the user experience by adding shipment tracking, user rating, and a points system allowing users to earn rewards. Continuous improvements are made to our product which including a different fee structure (paid by buyer instead of seller) and the ability to create alias and hide transaction prices that will be launched in Q1 2025.

Grant payments are tied to specific KPIs and milestones. Please revise your funding request to ensure the first budget unlock aligns with achieving Milestone 1.

To enhance your proposal, prioritize budget allocations that directly support growth initiatives, such as user engagement, community incentives, or marketing efforts. This aligns with the Foundation’s goals and showcases a clear trajectory for growth. Please explain your marketing initiatives with details.

KPIs for Milestones:
Define specific and measurable KPIs for each milestone. Key metrics could include:

  • Performance Metrics: TVL, transaction volume, unique wallets, partner integrations, or web traffic.
  • User Growth Metrics: Social media engagement, community expansion, or participation in AMAs and campaigns.

Include a breakdown of growth milestones, linking them to KPIs and providing a timeline and grant release schedule. This will improve transparency and make progress tracking more effective.

Please elaborate on how your project will provide value to users and the Conflux ecosystem. Specifically, detail how it will drive transactions, increase volume, and contribute to the network’s activity. A clear explanation of these benefits will strengthen the case for your proposal.
