Integration Grants Application '24: FluxPad

Integration Grants Application '24: FluxPad – Decentralized Launchpad for Tokens, NFTs, and Transparent Fundraising.

Problem Statement in the Conflux Ecosystem:

  • Non-technical users face barriers in creating and managing tokens or NFTs.
  • Trust issues arise due to a lack of transparent tools for project promotions and fundraising.
  • Limited support for promising projects hinders ecosystem growth and adoption.

Proposed Solution:

  • A launchpad offering no-code tools for creating tokens and NFTs.
  • Airdrop creation tools for seamless token distribution.
  • Fundraising and promotional features for vetted projects, supported by KYC and auditing.

Fee-sharing model to support the ecosystem:

  • 50% of collected fees for team/project development.
  • 50% allocated to fund the most hyped projects for their development.

Alignment with the Conflux Network:

  • Encourages ecosystem diversity by empowering new projects and developers.
  • Drives user engagement through innovative tools and support for promising initiatives.
  • Increases trust and transparency in fundraising through KYC and audits.

Benefit to the Conflux Ecosystem:

  • Boosts on-chain activity with new tokens, NFTs, and community-driven fundraising.
  • Creates a funding mechanism for ecosystem expansion by reinvesting fees into projects.
  • Attracts developers and users, fostering long-term growth and adoption.

Economic Benefit:

  • Increases Total Value Locked (TVL) and transaction volume.
  • Supports user-driven innovation through reinvestment in hyped projects.
  • Enhances trust and engagement through transparent auditing and support mechanisms.

Technical Proposal

Functional Goals:

  • No-code tools for creating tokens and NFTs.

  • KYC and audits for project transparency.

Non-Functional Goals:

  • User-friendly interface.
  • Reliable and secure transaction handling.
  • Scalable infrastructure for future feature expansion.

Implementation:

  • Smart contracts for token/NFT creation, airdrops, and fundraising.
  • Fee-sharing mechanisms integrated into the platform.
  • Analytics for monitoring ecosystem and project performance.

Hi Mathias,

The proposal shows potential, but two key areas may need more detail:

Milestone 2 metrics - What are your specific targets/details for “number of airdrops” and “user engagement”? (e.g. target number of active users, KYC completions, number of wallet interactions)

and for the marketing plan (€1,400) - Could you provide a breakdown of:

  • budget allocation per channel (social/content/events)
  • growth targets
  • engagement activities

Having these concrete numbers would help the evaluating process.

Thank you for presenting Fluxpad!

Thank you for your feedback and for providing the opportunity to elaborate on the marketing budget and engagement strategy.

Marketing Budget Allocation (€1,400):

Contests/Awards (€1,000):

  • €500 will be dedicated to a user contest that rewards the most active participants across the platform.
  • €500 will go toward an award for the best token or NFT project created on FluxPad.
  • These contests will foster engagement, incentivize activity, and promote innovation, sustaining community involvement over several months.

Social Media and Content Creation (€400):

  • The remaining budget will be used to create designs, social content, and leverage marketing tools across X (Twitter), YouTube, Discord, Telegram, and TikTok.
  • This will help expand our audience and promote the platform effectively across diverse channels.
    Marketing Campaign Duration:

The marketing campaign will span 2-3 months post-mainnet deployment to ensure consistent engagement and adoption during the critical early stages.

Growth and Engagement Targets:

  • Aim for 200 active users and a combined 5,000 followers on social media platforms by the end of the campaign.
  • Onboard 10-20 users during the testnet phase to thoroughly test FluxPad’s token and NFT creation systems.

Post-Mainnet Projections:

  • Expect 1,000 NFTs and 100 tokens to be created within the first three months, generating fees to reinvest into the project for marketing, feature development, and scaling efforts.

Engagement Activities:

  • The user contest and project awards will incentivize activity and innovation.
  • The testnet participants will provide critical feedback on platform usability and functionality, ensuring FluxPad is aligned with user needs before the mainnet launch.
  • These efforts will allow us to build a strong community, onboard active users, and ensure a successful launch that aligns with Conflux’s ecosystem goals.

Please let me know if there are any other details I can provide.

Best regards,
Mathias

Hey Mathias,

Thanks for your Fluxpad proposals. There are a few points in the current proposal that I think should be reconsidered:

  • Typically the Foundation’s preference is not to allocate funds for testnet deployments. We encourage projects to focus on mainnet deployment as part of their initial milestone.
  • We also tend to prioritize directing the majority of grant allocations towards activities that drive direct growth (i.e.: incentives, marketing, campaigns, community growth) or building, rather than adaptation.
  • Include a detailed list of growth milestones with a separate clear budget breakdown. For each milestone, provide a specific budget linked to its KPIs, where KPIs are the conditions at which the funds are released. Focus on when the funds will be released, and separately outline a budget breakdown, how the grant is going to be used. (Note: The Foundation releases funds only after milestone and KPI completion.) This will aid in tracking progress and clarifying grant requirements.
  • Include targeted KPIs for each milestone and the expected outcomes, covering both performance-based metrics (e.g., number of token launches, TVL, unique wallet addresses, transaction numbers, partner integrations, etc) and user growth KPIs (e.g., social metrics such as: X followers, Telegram users, AMAs and user campaigns, etc).
  • Are you planning on an audit?
  • Can you expand on the long-term plans with the project? How you looking forward to grow?

Thank you for your earlier responses. Please remember to keep the main body of your proposal updated with your latest changes and developments. This ensures that your proposal remains transparent and easy to follow for everyone involved.
