Hi Picfry team,

Thank you for submitting your application and for building a no-code token creation tool on Conflux eSpace-this is a valuable addition to our ecosystem!

To help the committee and community better assess your proposal, could you please clarify a few points:

  1. Budget Breakdown: Can you provide a more detailed breakdown of how the requested grant funds (especially at the higher range) would be allocated? For example, what specific milestones or deliverables would each funding tranche support?

  2. Security & Audits: Have any of your contracts been audited, or do you have plans and a timeline for a third-party audit? Sharing any audit reports or plans would help.

  3. User & Community Stats: Could you share some data on current usage or traction on Conflux eSpace (e.g., number of tokens created, active users)? Also, do you have any public channels (social media, Discord, etc.) where users can get support or follow updates?

  4. Team & Transparency: As a solo developer, how do you plan to handle ongoing maintenance and support? Would you consider open-sourcing part of the codebase or increasing transparency in other ways?

Looking forward to your response and to seeing how Picfry can help grow the Conflux ecosystem!

Best regards,

Máté
Head of Grant

Hi Máté and the Conflux Grant Committee,

Thank you for your feedback and for recognizing the potential of Picfry as a no-code token creation tool for Conflux eSpace. I appreciate the opportunity to clarify your questions and provide additional context to support my grant application. I’d also like to share that, in alignment with Conflux’s open-source ethos, I have open-sourced Picfry’s codebase and applied for a separate grant to support its open-source version. Below, I address your points and provide relevant updates.

Budget Breakdown
The requested grant ranges from $20,000 to $100,000, with funds allocated to specific milestones to enhance Picfry’s impact on Conflux eSpace. Here’s the breakdown:

Marketing ($50,000): As a solo developer, I currently lack funds for marketing and rely entirely on organic traffic. This budget will fund community outreach, such as Twitter and Discord campaigns and Conflux community AMAs, aiming to onboard 500+ users creating tokens within 6 months.

Stability ($10,000): Covers Vercel hosting for 99.5% uptime and basic security testing for the token deployment process via MetaMask. Deliverables include a stable platform with zero downtime and a security review report by Q3 2025.

Future Integrations ($40,000): Supports iterative improvements to Picfry, such as enhanced wallet compatibility or user interface upgrades. Milestones include releasing v1.1 with one improvement by month 4 and v1.2 with further enhancements by month 6, targeting 100+ token creations.

If approved at the lower end ($20,000), I’ll prioritize stability ($10,000) and limited marketing ($10,000) to bootstrap organic growth. The higher range enables broader outreach and faster development, driving eSpace adoption.

Security & Audits
Picfry does not deploy smart contracts directly; users input token details via a form, and MetaMask handles the ERC-20 token deployment on Conflux eSpace using standard EVM-compatible templates. No audits have been conducted yet, as I lack the funds to commission one.

User & Community Stats
Since launching on April 10, 2025, Picfry (https://picfry.com/cfx) has not yet recorded any token creations on Conflux eSpace, as I’ve been unable to invest in marketing or free promotional efforts due to time and funding constraints. The platform relies on organic traffic, with approximately 100 unique visitors but no active token deployments. The interface supports fast token creation (under 15 seconds via MetaMask), and I anticipate traction with grant-funded marketing.

Team & Transparency
As a solo developer with 9+ years of web and blockchain development experience since 2016, I handle Picfry’s development, maintenance, and community engagement. To ensure sustainability, I’ve open-sourced Picfry’s codebase at https://github.com/BayHatter/Conflux-eSpace-CFX-Token-Creation-Tool-Without-Coding, enabling community contributions and aligning with Conflux’s open-source priorities.

Open-Source Grant Application
I’ve also applied for a Technical Grant for the open-source version of this tool, titled “Conflux eSpace CFX Token Creation Tool Without Coding” (Integration Grants Application '24: Conflux eSpace CFX Token Creation Tool Without Coding). This grant focuses on lifetime maintenance and community-driven development of the open-source codebase, which is free for all users. Picfry, as a commercial platform charging $50 per token creation, drives immediate transactions, while the open-source tool fosters long-term developer engagement. I respectfully request the committee’s support for both projects, as they synergize to grow Conflux eSpace: Picfry accelerates user adoption, and the open-source tool builds a robust developer ecosystem.

Thank you for your consideration.

I look forward to contributing to the ecosystem with both Picfry and the open-source tool!

Best regards,
Mohsin Khan
