Integration Grants Application '26: ChangeHero

Application Introduction

1. Name of the project
ChangeHero Core Space & eSpace Integration - submitted by ChangeHero (operated by HEROFINTECHS LIMITADA)

2. Problem statement & proposed solution
Conflux is unique among major L1s in running two parallel execution environments - Core Space (native) and eSpace (EVM-compatible). This dual architecture is a strength for developers, but it creates additional friction for end users and for third-party platforms deciding whether to list CFX:
There is only a very small number of non-custodial swap platforms and aggregators that support Conflux at all, and none of them support both CFX (native) and CFX (EVM) together.

A user has to manually bridge Core Space CFX to eSpace, separately find a venue that lists the CFX they need, then execute the swap there. That’s a two- or three-step, multi-platform process that filters out all but the most technical users, and it actively discourages new users from ever holding CFX.

There is no non-custodial, one-click way to move value between Conflux’s two spaces and swap both assets against other chains (BTC, XRP, TON, etc) in a single flow.

Proposed solution:
ChangeHero is an instant, non-custodial crypto swap platform and free public API provider used by wallets, on-ramps, and aggregators. We will integrate both Conflux Core Space and Conflux eSpace as fully supported, swappable assets against ChangeHero’s 400+ listed cryptocurrencies. Users will be able to swap between CFX (native), CFX (EVM), and any other supported asset without registration, wallet-connect, or KYC, including moving value between the two Conflux spaces as part of the swap flow.

3. Alignment with the Conflux Network
Benefit to the Conflux ecosystem:
ChangeHero has 350+ listed assets on 60+ chains, 3M+ partner API users, coverage in 180+ countries, and a free public API already integrated by wallets and platforms including OneKey, Exodus, Edge, Trezor, Tangem, CoolWallet, etc. This integration gives Conflux exposure to 800+ crypto projects building on ChangeHero’s swap API. It’s a low-friction way to put Conflux in front of a large existing base of wallets and developers, and to make both CFX and CFX (EVM) easily swappable, accessible assets.

Economic benefit:
New, non-custodial swap routes into and out of CFX and CFX (EVM) aggregated across ChangeHero’s 20+ existing liquidity sources directly translate into new on-chain activity on Conflux. ChangeHero currently processes dozens of millions of dollars in daily swap volume across its existing asset list. Even initial adoption of CFX pairs represents a meaningful, incremental increase in Conflux transaction count and CFX liquidity depth. With some of the best trade execution on the market, we can bring hundreds of CFX and CFX (EVM) pairs to wallets and other platforms.

4. Competitive edge
Even the swap providers that do support Conflux typically support only one of its two spaces. ChangeHero is proposing the harder, more valuable integration: native Core Space support and eSpace support, with the ability to swap between them. Combined with ChangeHero’s existing strengths - non-custodial, no registration or KYC required for swaps, this makes ChangeHero one of the few places a user can move seamlessly between Conflux’s two spaces and the rest of the crypto market. We can also guarantee competitive pricing, as our swap fees are among the lowest in the market. We can bring cheaper CFX swaps to wallets like OneKey and other platforms.

6. Conflux eSpace grant recipient wallet address
To be provided upon request following review of this application, once our treasury address for the grant has been finalized and internally verified.

7. Are you an incorporated startup?
Yes. ChangeHero is operated by HEROFINTECHS LIMITADA, incorporated in San José, Costa Rica (registration No. 4062001322968). ChangeHero has operated as a non-custodial crypto swap service since 2017.

Technical Introduction

1. Problem statement
CFX and CFX (EVM) are largely unsupported by non-custodial swap infrastructure, and moving value between Core Space, eSpace, and other chains requires multiple manual steps and technical expertise.

2. Existing solutions and feasibility
Based on our review, no non-custodial instant-swap platform currently offers native Core Space CFX swaps AND eSpace CFX swaps in a single product. We can solve this and bring more cross-chain interoperability for the Conflux community and for builders looking to support CFX. ChangeHero has already executed non-EVM chain integrations (e.g., ICP, QUAI, KAS) using the same in-house integration pipeline, which keeps execution risk low.

3. Purpose
Add Conflux (both Core Space and eSpace) as fully supported, swappable assets on ChangeHero’s platform and public API.

4. Scope
In scope: swap-engine integration for CFX (Core Space) and CFX (eSpace); node/RPC infrastructure for both spaces; wallet address generation and validation for both address formats; liquidity aggregation to cover CFX (Core Space) and CFX (eSpace); public API updates; testing and production deployment. Out of scope for this proposal: integration into ChangeHero-affiliated products (payment service, on-ramp, etc.) to be discussed separately.

5. Objectives and success criteria
-CFX (Core Space) live and swappable against ChangeHero’s 350+ assets within ~2 months of grant approval.
-CFX (eSpace) live and swappable against the same asset list on the same timeline.
-Uptime and performance in line with ChangeHero’s existing platform SLAs (99.99% uptime target, ~100–500ms API response times, ~90% of swaps completed in under 5 minutes).
-Reportable transaction volume and swap count for CFX pairs within 60 days of public launch, to share with the grants committee.

Technical Proposal

1. Functional overview, core aspects and elements
-RPC/node integration for both Conflux Core Space and eSpace and health monitoring.
-Address generation and validation for both formats in use on Conflux (Core Space’s cfx:-prefixed base32 addresses and eSpace’s standard 0x hex addresses).
-Extension of ChangeHero’s existing liquidity-aggregation and rate engine to source and price CFX.
Public API updates (api-docs.changehero.io) so that CFX support is immediately available to every existing wallet/partner integration.

2. Non-functional overview
Usability: CFX (Core Space) and CFX (eSpace) appear as two clearly labeled, selectable variants in ChangeHero’s existing asset picker, consistent with how other multi-network assets are already presented on the platform. No new account, KYC, or app download is required by users to swap CFX.
Reliability: Built to ChangeHero’s existing 99.99% uptime target with automatic failover and alerting on any degradation, matching current platform SLAs.
Performance: Targeting the same ~100–500ms API response times and ~90%-of-swaps-under-5-minutes benchmark ChangeHero maintains across its other 350+ assets.
Implementation: Delivered as an extension of ChangeHero’s existing in-house, RESTful API and widget infrastructure.
User interface: CFX (Core Space) and CFX (eSpace) are added to ChangeHero’s existing web and API interfaces using established UI patterns.
