GigShield — Conflux Integration Grant Proposal
Project: GigShield — trustless freelance escrow on Conflux eSpace
Team: MBP Enterprises LTD — Mathias Pellegrin
Budget request: $15,000 total, split across 3 milestones
Timeline: 3 months post-hackathon
Category: Integration grant (USDT0 + AnchorX AxCNH)
Submitted in conjunction with: Conflux Global Hackfest 2026
1. One-line summary
GigShield is a stablecoin-denominated milestone escrow platform for independent freelancers, already live on Conflux eSpace Mainnet. This grant funds the 90 days after the hackathon: security audit groundwork, full user-transparent gas sponsorship via Core Space bridging, and the growth push that gets the product to 350 active escrows and $60K+ stablecoin volume.
2. Why this fits Conflux
GigShield brings recurring, real-user transactional activity to Conflux eSpace — the exact category of ecosystem growth the Conflux team has been prioritizing. Specifically:
- USDT0 first-class integration — primary payment rail in the contract and UI. Aligned with Conflux’s stablecoin narrative.
- AnchorX AxCNH integration — second native stablecoin rail, opens CNH-denominated freelance contracts on-chain (a market no other chain serves).
- eSpace-native economics — sub-$100 freelance escrow is only viable because of Conflux eSpace’s low native fees. This is a product that cannot exist on Ethereum L1.
- Real users, real transactions, real stablecoin volume — every completed project is a real stablecoin transfer on-chain, directly anchoring the “stablecoin + real-world assets” story to a user-facing product rather than a speculative pool.
3. Current state (what’s already shipped)
- Smart contract deployed and verified on Conflux eSpace Mainnet (chainId 1030):

- 70 test cases covering full contract lifecycle + dispute + arbitration + attack scenarios
- USDT0 and AnchorX AxCNH integrated as first-class payment tokens
- Source code: https://github.com/mathiaspellegrin/GigShield
- Demo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Culycr6G7l8
This is not a pre-grant project hoping for funding to start. It’s a working product asking for the fuel to reach meaningful ecosystem traction in the next 90 days.
4. Milestones, KPIs, and payment triggers
Each milestone has verifiable tech + growth KPIs. Payment releases only when every KPI in the milestone is independently verifiable (on-chain state, public analytics, or short demo video).
Milestone 1 — Polish & first cohort ($3,000, Month 1)
Tech:
- UX polish pass on the three primary flows (create, approve, dispute) based on beta feedback
- Arbitrator onboarding UI for new arbitrators joining the pool
- Public documentation site (Docusaurus or similar) with architecture, API, and user guides
- Audit preparation: threat model document, scope of work drafted, shortlist of 2 auditors
Growth:
- 50 registered users (wallet connects verifiable via frontend analytics + on-chain “first tx from address” count)
- 20 completed escrows on mainnet (on-chain verifiable)
- 3 content pieces published (X/Twitter threads, one Conflux Forum long-form post)
Payment trigger:
- Short demo video showing new UX + docs site live
- Dune or equivalent dashboard link proving 20+ escrows completed
- Public social posts proving content KPI
Milestone 2 — Core-Space sponsorship + growth ($5,000, Month 2)
Tech:
-
Full user-transparent gas sponsorship — Core-Space-side sponsor contract +
CrossSpaceCall(CIP-90) bridging. Users pay $0 gas end-to-end. - Reputation schema v1 (read-only MVP: escrow history, dispute outcomes, auto-release rate per address)
- Partial milestone payments (percentage-based releases)
Growth:
- 150 active escrows on mainnet (on-chain verifiable)
- $15,000+ total stablecoin volume moved through the contract (on-chain verifiable, USDT0 + AxCNH combined)
- 150 registered users, with 30%+ re-engagement (second escrow within 30 days)
- One long-form post on the Conflux Forum + one self-hosted community session (X/Twitter Space or public Discord AMA)
Payment trigger:
- Demo video: fresh wallet completes a full escrow flow paying $0 gas (sponsorship proof)
- Dashboard link proving 150 escrows + $15K volume
- Link to forum post + community session recording
Milestone 3 — Audit & expansion ($7,000, Month 3)
Tech:
- Full security audit by a reputable firm, report published
- Audit-driven fixes + re-verification
- Arbitrator staking v1 (arbitrators post bond; slashed on bad-faith votes by challenge mechanism)
- CNH-region UI localization pass (language + currency display toggle for AxCNH flows)
Growth:
- 350 active escrows on mainnet
- $60,000+ total stablecoin volume moved through the contract
- First CNH-region pilot — outreach to 2 freelance communities in a CNH-adjacent region, targeting 15 AxCNH-denominated escrows
- Public project retrospective + roadmap for next 6 months
Payment trigger:
- Audit report link (public)
- Dashboard link proving 350 escrows + $60K volume + AxCNH breakdown
- Pilot community partnership announcement
5. Go-to-market (the growth side of the proposal)
Grants fund product and marketing. Here’s how we bring users:
- Developer-centric distribution (weeks 1–12): X/Twitter threads showing real on-chain escrows. r/freelance, r/forhire, Indie Hackers, Farcaster. Founder-led content — no paid ads in phase 1.
- Conflux ecosystem co-promotion: cross-post on Conflux channels, co-host one AMA per milestone, link to GigShield from ecosystem aggregators. Category-track visibility from the Hackfest itself seeds initial traffic.
- CNH-region beachhead (Milestone 3): AnchorX AxCNH opens a market segment no other chain serves. Targeted partnerships with CNH-adjacent freelance communities are the unlock — this is the differentiator no competing escrow has.
- Monetization: free during beta. Post-Milestone-3, introduce 1% platform fee on successful releases (vs. 10–20% extracted by Upwork/Fiverr). Fee revenue becomes the sustainability path after the grant.
6. Budget breakdown
| Item | Amount | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Security audit | $5,000 | External audit by reputable firm (Milestone 3 trigger) |
| Core-Space sponsorship infrastructure | $2,000 | Contract dev + bridge + deployment costs |
| Feature development (reputation, partial milestones, staking) | $4,000 | Engineering for Phase 2 features |
| Content + community | $2,000 | Long-form content, AMA production, CNH-region partnerships |
| Documentation site + developer tooling | $1,000 | Docusaurus site, API docs, example integrations |
| Operational runway | $1,000 | Hosting, monitoring, small-amount gas for testing |
Total: $15,000
7. Reporting
Progress reported every 4 weeks via a Conflux Forum update post with:
- On-chain metrics (links + dashboard)
- Feature shipped in the period
- User/volume growth
- Blockers and asks
Payment milestones released only after Conflux team confirms all KPIs hit for that milestone.

9. Ask
Approve $15,000 in three milestone payments to fund the 90 days after the hackathon. Each payment tied to verifiable KPIs (on-chain state, public dashboards, demo videos). GigShield already works and has shipped this grant converts “working product” into “growing ecosystem-relevant user base” with the gas-sponsored UX and security audit that unlock the next 10× of users.
Thank you for the consideration.
