Integration Grants Application '24: MyPal Conflux Card Integration
Application Introduction
Project Name
MyPal Conflux Card Integration
Project Overview
MyPal is a global digital payment platform that enables users to spend stablecoins in everyday life through virtual and physical debit cards. The platform primarily supports USDT, allowing users to seamlessly convert crypto into fiat at the point of transaction.
MyPal cards can be used worldwide across 160+ countries wherever major card networks are accepted, including online payments, in-store purchases, mobile wallet payments, and ATM withdrawals. MyPal offers both virtual cards for instant online and mobile wallet usage, and physical cards for in-store payments and cash access. The cards are compatible with Apple Pay and Google Pay, providing users with a familiar and convenient payment experience anytime, anywhere.
Designed for global users, MyPal caters to individuals and businesses looking for a simple way to use digital assets without relying on traditional banking infrastructure. The platform focuses on accessibility, cross-border usability, and bridging the gap between Web3 assets and real-world payments.
This grant application proposes the integration of Conflux Network into MyPal so that Conflux users can deposit funds directly through the Conflux ecosystem and access card-based spending without relying on bridges, unnecessary conversions, or fragmented off-chain processes.

Problem Statement
Users within many blockchain ecosystems still face friction when trying to use on-chain assets in real-world payment environments. Common issues include the need to bridge assets to other networks, multiple conversion steps before funds become usable, limited direct card infrastructure, and poor continuity between on-chain activity and real-world financial utility.
For the Conflux ecosystem, this creates an opportunity to make assets held on Conflux more practical for day-to-day use. Without a direct card and payment layer, users may move funds away from Conflux to access external spending infrastructure, reducing ecosystem retention, transaction activity, and user engagement.
Proposed Solution
MyPal proposes to integrate Conflux Network into the MyPal platform, allowing verified users to deposit funds directly through Conflux and access virtual card services for everyday spending. As part of this grant proposal, MyPal will also provide 200 virtual cards for Conflux to distribute to eligible verified users, community members, developers, or campaign participants.
For clarity, this grant proposal covers virtual cards only. Physical cards and any Conflux-branded whitelabel card program are not included in the $2,000 grant scope and may be discussed separately as a future partnership.
The integration will include:
- Direct Conflux Network deposit support on MyPal.
- User access to MyPal virtual cards only after successful verification.
- Support for card-based spending using deposited funds.
- Lifetime support and maintenance for the Conflux integration.
- Allocation of 200 virtual cards for Conflux ecosystem growth campaigns.
Alignment with Conflux Network
The proposed integration aligns with Conflux Network by expanding practical utility for assets and users within the ecosystem. Conflux is positioned as a high-performance blockchain network supporting scalable decentralized applications and real-world blockchain use cases. MyPal’s integration contributes to this vision by connecting Conflux-based value to real-world payments.
This project supports Conflux by:
- Creating a consumer-facing payments use case for the ecosystem.
- Improving asset utility beyond DeFi and trading.
- Helping retain users and liquidity within Conflux.
- Giving developers a practical example of how Conflux can support payment-focused applications.
- Increasing the visibility of Conflux as a network that can support real-world financial products.
Benefit to the Conflux Ecosystem
The MyPal integration can help attract more developers to Conflux by demonstrating that applications on Conflux can support real-world financial activity. Developers are more likely to build on an ecosystem where users can easily move from on-chain interactions to practical spending and financial utility.
The integration benefits the ecosystem by:
- Demonstrating a live card and payment use case built around Conflux deposits.
- Encouraging fintech, payment, wallet, and consumer application builders to consider Conflux.
- Giving Conflux a practical onboarding and retention tool for users.
- Supporting campaigns where users receive virtual cards after completing verification.
- Showing that Conflux can support real-world, user-facing crypto payment infrastructure.
Economic Benefit to the Conflux Ecosystem
This integration is expected to increase on-chain activity by enabling users to deposit funds through Conflux into MyPal. Each deposit creates additional network activity and gives users a reason to hold and use assets within the Conflux ecosystem.
Potential economic benefits include:
- Increased deposits from Conflux-supported assets into MyPal.
- Additional transaction volume generated through user funding activity.
- Greater asset retention within the Conflux ecosystem.
- Increased demand for Conflux-based payment rails.
- Higher user engagement through card activation, deposits, and spending.
- Additional ecosystem growth through the 200 virtual card allocation.
Competitive Edge
MyPal’s competitive edge is its existing card infrastructure and ability to support both virtual and physical card programs. Rather than building a card stack from scratch, Conflux can support an integration with an existing platform that already has card issuance infrastructure, compliance flows, and user-facing payment capabilities.
Key differentiators include:
- Existing virtual and physical card infrastructure.
- Global usability across 160+ countries where major card networks are accepted.
- Support for USDT as the primary stablecoin asset.
- Ability to convert crypto into fiat at the point of transaction.
- Support for online payments, in-store purchases, mobile wallet payments, and ATM withdrawals.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay compatibility.
- Availability of both virtual and physical cards.
- Lifetime support and maintenance for the Conflux integration.
- Fast integration timeline, estimated at approximately one month for this first chain expansion.
- Optional future pathway for a full Conflux-branded whitelabel card solution.

Technical Introduction
Overview
The MyPal Conflux Card Integration will allow eligible and verified users to deposit funds through the Conflux Network and access card-based spending through MyPal’s virtual card infrastructure. The project addresses the current gap between on-chain assets and everyday payment usability.
Reference to Problem Statement
The Conflux ecosystem can benefit from stronger real-world payment utility. Users often need to bridge assets or rely on third-party networks and conversion paths before using crypto funds for daily spending. This creates friction and may reduce on-chain activity within the Conflux ecosystem.
By integrating Conflux directly into MyPal, users will have a clearer path from Conflux-based funds to card usage, improving convenience and encouraging continued ecosystem participation.
Existing Solutions and Feasibility Study
Existing solutions in the market include general crypto cards, centralized exchange cards, and third-party payment platforms. However, many of these solutions require users to deposit through specific chains, use centralized exchange balances, or convert assets outside their preferred ecosystem.
The MyPal approach is feasible because:
- MyPal already operates card-related infrastructure.
- The platform already supports USDT-based card spending.
- MyPal already supports virtual and physical card access.
- MyPal supports online payments, in-store transactions, mobile wallet usage, and ATM withdrawals.
- The team can support virtual card issuance for verified users.
- MyPal already supports cardholder onboarding and verification workflows.
