Integration Grants Application: Flap Token Launcher

Project Overview

Name of the Project:

Flap.sh - User-Generated Social Gaming and On-chain Liquidity System on EVM.

Problem Statement in the Conflux Ecosystem

Currently, the Conflux ecosystem lacks a comprehensive platform that allows users to easily launch community-driven tokens while engaging in on-chain social games. Developers face high liquidity costs, and users struggle with transparency in token launches, leading to honeypot scams and friction in community building.

Proposed Solution

Flap.sh addresses these issues by providing a platform where users can launch tokens with community-driven bonding curves. It lowers liquidity barriers, enhances transparency, and encourages organic community growth, bridging the gap between social interaction and DeFi.

Alignment with the Conflux Network

Flap.sh aligns with the Conflux Network’s goals of enhancing decentralized finance (DeFi) and expanding its ecosystem by enabling users to create assets without needing significant upfront liquidity, just as Pump.fun did for Solana. The system’s integration with EVM will offer Conflux users innovative liquidity tools and social engagement mechanics.

Benefit to the Conflux Ecosystem

Flap.sh will entice developers to build on Conflux by offering an easy-to-use platform for launching tokens, making it attractive for new projects and startups. The platform encourages active participation, helping to foster a thriving community of developers and users within the Conflux ecosystem.

Economic Benefit

Flap.sh will increase on-chain assets and transaction volume by enabling rapid token creation and community-driven growth. By providing liquidity solutions and engaging experiences through social games, it will drive more users and assets to the Conflux network, boosting both network usage and revenue.

Competitive Edge

Flap.sh distinguishes itself by:

Offering concentrated liquidity solutions (e.g., UniV3 integration), unlike competitors.
Proven traction in early markets and an innovative approach to community engagement using bonding curves.

Flap’s staking and burn features not only provide token holders with passive income through gas fee rewards but also ensure long-term value appreciation via a deflationary mechanism.

Technical Introduction

Functional Goals

Flap.sh aims to democratize token launches by lowering barriers for developers and enhancing community growth through bonding curves and social gaming on EVM-compatible chains. The platform solves liquidity and transparency issues in token launches, making crypto more engaging for users.

Problem Statement Recap

Existing ecosystems like Conflux face high liquidity costs, lack of community-building tools, and friction in token launches. Flap.sh addresses these issues through community-driven bonding curves and on-chain games.

Existing Solutions

Platforms like UniV3 address liquidity but lack community-building and social game features. Flap.sh integrates both, making it a unique solution. A feasibility study shows that the EVM market is primed for this innovation due to its larger asset base and lack of direct competition.

Purpose and Scope

Flap.sh’s purpose is to lower liquidity barriers for token creation while fostering community engagement. Its scope includes token generation, on-chain social games, and liquidity management tools, creating a holistic platform for developers and users.

Objectives and Success Criteria

Establish Flap.sh as a leading decentralized platform for token launches and gaming on EVM chains.
Success will be measured by the number of tokens launched, user engagement, and transaction volume on Conflux.

Hello Flap Team,

thanks for applying for the Conflux Grant. Besides a technical deployment of Flap.sh on Conflux Network, I do believe that marketing and hyping for meme-creators and meme-traders are upmost important for Flap to become a success.

Could you please elaborate how you can attract meme-builders and traders to come use Flap on Conflux? I recommend most parts of the grant funds can be used to attract users to Flap on Conflux.

Hello Flap Team,

Thank you for sharing your proposal.

I agree with Christian’s emphasis on prioritizing growth initiatives and ensuring budget allocation aligns with that focus. Generally, we expect grant funds to be used for activities that directly drive growth and incentives, rather than for development funding.

Here are a few additional thoughts on areas that could benefit from refinement:

  • Please ensure your budget breakdown aligns with the total budget request, as the current figures don’t add up correctly.
  • The Foundation typically does not allocate funds for testnet deployments. We encourage projects to include mainnet deployment as part of their first milestone.
  • Could you elaborate further on your growth initiatives? Specifically, what are the sources of growth you are targeting?
  • It’s important to include detailed performance and social KPIs in your milestone list. These KPIs should clearly define the targets required to unlock the requested budget allocations and align with the budget breakdown. Examples could include the number of tokens launched, trading volume, or key social metrics, etc.
  • We recommend revising your budget to place greater emphasis on marketing initiatives rather than development work, as highlighted in the previous comment

Looking forward to your revised proposal!

Our previous experience has demonstrated that even meme projects with strong potential often face liquidity barriers. While a great idea and design are critical, teams also need to cover significant expenses to gain traction. Costs such as websites, tools like Dexscreener, market-making (MM), and community engagement (e.g., raiders) are essential for success.

Liquidity support for both the launch and growth phases is crucial. This not only enables project teams to thrive but also has a reciprocal effect—boosting the chain’s transaction volume, overall attractiveness, and ecosystem growth.

Fund Allocation Overview:
We propose allocating the majority of funds (approximately 80%) for token launch activities and 20% for deployment and security audits.

Please revise your grant proposal to include detailed performance and social KPIs within your milestone list. While we understand that a significant portion of the requested funds is allocated to marketing initiatives, it is crucial to incorporate these efforts into the Milestone list with clearly defined KPIs and measurable outcomes.

These KPIs should specify the targets required to unlock the respective budget allocations and align with the overall budget breakdown. To provide greater clarity on your project’s growth, consider introducing sub-milestones with targeted KPIs.

Examples of such KPIs could include TVL, the number of tokens launched, trading volume, monthly unique active wallets, website traffic, user campaigns, and key social engagement metrics.

Hey @jotatotal, any progress on your proposal?
