Integration Grants Application '26: Stakereef

Hi all,

submitting an application for a grant to expand Stakereef.com to Conflux.

Project overview

We are applying for a grant to expand stakereef.com to Conflux L1.

stakereef is a non-custodial staking platform that gives users a clear and simple way to view validators, compare performance and fees, track rewards and manage their staking positions.

The product is already live and has reached approximately:

  • 5,000 stakers
  • Tens of thousands of monthly visits
  • 1 million views over the last year

The goal of this grant is to build a dedicated Conflux integration, launch a professional Conflux validator operated by swyke and make native CFX staking easier to understand and access.

We are requesting:

  • The equivalent of $20,000 in CFX to support the engineering, testing and launch of the Conflux integration.
  • 50 million CFX staked with a Conflux validator operated by swyke.

The 50 million CFX staking allocation would be separate from the development grant. The underlying CFX would remain under the control of the Conflux Foundation or the relevant delegating entity and would not be transferred to or owned by swyke.

Problem statement and proposed solution

Conflux does not currently have a dedicated and user-friendly staking hub where holders can easily:

  • View and compare validators
  • Check validator performance and uptime
  • Review validator fees
  • Understand estimated staking rewards
  • Track their staking positions
  • Monitor rewards
  • Manage staking and unstaking actions

Users currently have to rely on exchanges, explorers, documentation or separate tools to find this information.

This creates a fragmented experience and makes custodial products such as Binance Earn easier to use than staking directly through the Conflux network.

We propose to integrate Conflux into stakereef and build a dedicated staking interface where users can:

  • View Conflux validators
  • Compare validator performance, uptime and fees
  • Connect a compatible wallet
  • Stake CFX
  • View their active staking positions
  • Monitor rewards
  • Manage supported staking and unstaking actions
  • Access clear information about how Conflux staking works
  • Stake with a professionally operated Conflux validator managed by swyke

stakereef will remain non-custodial. Users will retain control of their assets and approve transactions directly through their own wallets.

Alignment with the Conflux Network

stakereef is aligned with the Conflux ecosystem because it encourages users to interact directly with the network instead of relying on centralised custodians.

The integration will:

  • Encourage more users to stake CFX on-chain
  • Improve visibility for Conflux validators
  • Make validator performance easier to compare
  • Improve transparency around fees, rewards and staking positions
  • Reduce reliance on centralised staking platforms
  • Give users another professionally operated validator option
  • Introduce Conflux to the existing stakereef audience
  • Create a clearer entry point for new Conflux holders

The product will be built specifically around the Conflux staking experience and will be available as a dedicated Conflux section on stakereef.com.

Benefit to the Conflux ecosystem

The main benefit is making Conflux staking easier for users to understand and use.

For CFX holders, stakereef will provide one place to view validators, compare staking options, track rewards and manage their positions.

For validators, the platform will provide additional visibility and allow validators to compete based on performance, uptime, fees and service quality.

For developers and ecosystem participants, a more active and transparent staking environment demonstrates that the network has active users, infrastructure providers and long-term token holders.

stakereef already has an audience from other blockchain ecosystems. The Conflux integration will introduce this audience to CFX and give them a direct reason to interact with the network.

The requested 50 million CFX staking allocation would also support the launch of a professionally operated Conflux validator and provide stakereef with first-hand access to the complete validator and staking lifecycle.

Economic benefit

The platform is designed to increase the amount of CFX actively staked on-chain.

The expected economic benefits include:

  • More CFX being staked
  • More staking transactions
  • More unstaking and withdrawal transactions
  • More reward-related transactions
  • More wallet activity
  • Increased visibility for validators
  • Better distribution of stake across professional validators
  • More users holding CFX for longer periods
  • New users entering the Conflux ecosystem through stakereef

Competitive edge

stakereef is already live and is not being developed from zero.

The platform has already achieved:

  • Approximately 5,000 stakers
  • Tens of thousands of monthly visits
  • Approximately 1 million views in one year
  • An existing frontend and backend
  • An existing staking and validator analytics system
  • An existing blockchain staking audience
  • Experience operating validators and blockchain infrastructure

The Conflux grant would fund a chain-specific integration rather than the creation of an untested product.

Our competitive edge is the combination of:

Marketing and ecosystem growth plan

We will announce the Conflux integration through the stakereef and swyke X accounts and our existing community channels. When stakereef originally launched, our announcement received approximately 57,000 views, supported by amplification from the IKA Foundation. We would follow the same approach for Conflux and coordinate the launch with the Conflux Foundation, including support through its official social channels and retweets.

Yes, operating since 2022.

Technical Introduction

The goal is to integrate Conflux L1 into the existing stakereef platform and launch a Conflux validator operated by swyke.

Conflux users currently have to rely on exchanges, explorers and separate tools to compare validators, review fees, track rewards and manage staking positions.

stakereef will bring this information into one non-custodial interface where users can:

  • View and compare validators
  • Connect a compatible wallet
  • Stake and unstake CFX
  • Track staking positions and rewards
  • Review validator fees, uptime and performance

The project is feasible because stakereef is already live. The frontend, backend, analytics and staking dashboard already exist. The grant will fund the Conflux-specific integration.

Purpose and scope of the system

The purpose of the system is to make Conflux staking easier to understand and access.

The first release will include:

  • Conflux validator directory
  • Conflux wallet connection
  • Staking and unstaking flows
  • User staking dashboard
  • Reward tracking
  • Validator uptime and performance data
  • Conflux network staking statistics
  • Public deployment on stakereef.com
  • A Conflux validator operated by swyke

The platform will be non-custodial. Users will retain control of their assets and approve all transactions through their own wallets.

Objectives and success criteria

The project will be considered delivered when:

  • Conflux is publicly available on stakereef.com
  • Users can connect a supported wallet
  • Users can view and compare Conflux validators
  • Users can view their staking positions and rewards
  • Users can initiate supported staking and unstaking actions
  • The swyke Conflux validator is operational

Success will be measured through:

  • Conflux page visits
  • Wallet connections
  • Number of staking transactions
  • Amount of CFX staked through stakereef
  • Validator uptime and performance
  • Number of returning users

KPI expectations

We will track Conflux page visits, wallet connections, staking transactions, CFX staked through stakereef, returning users and validator performance. We cannot commit to specific user or transaction targets in advance, as adoption will depend on the size and activity of the existing Conflux community and the level of launch support provided by the Conflux Foundation, particularly promotion through its official channels. We will report the actual results as part of the grant reporting process.

Technical Proposal

The Conflux integration will use the existing stakereef platform and add:

  • Validator and staking data
  • Conflux wallet support
  • Staking transaction flows
  • User position and reward tracking
  • Validator monitoring
  • Conflux-specific frontend pages

The platform will collect and display information such as:

  • Validator name and status
  • Total stake
  • Validator fees
  • Uptime and performance
  • User staking positions
  • Pending staking or unstaking actions
  • Earned and estimated rewards

Where supported by Conflux, users will be able to:

  • Stake CFX
  • Add to an existing staking position
  • Unstake CFX
  • Withdraw available CFX
  • Claim rewards
  • Change validator

All transactions will be approved through the user’s wallet. stakereef will not hold funds, store private keys or guarantee staking returns.

Usability, reliability and performance

The interface will:

  • Work on desktop and mobile
  • Use simple language
  • Clearly display fees and estimated rewards
  • Show transaction status
  • Explain staking and unstaking periods
  • Display an error when data cannot be confirmed

The platform will use data validation, caching, RPC failure handling, monitoring and error logging.

Implementation

The implementation will include:

  • Reviewing the Conflux staking system
  • Confirming RPC methods and data sources
  • Building the Conflux backend integration
  • Adding wallet support
  • Building staking transaction flows
  • Adding validator and staking pages
  • Adding position and reward tracking
  • Configuring the swyke validator
  • Testing the integration
  • Deploying it publicly on stakereef.com
  • Publishing user documentation

User interface

The Conflux section will include:

  • Conflux landing page
  • Validator directory
  • Individual validator pages
  • Network staking statistics
  • Wallet connection
  • Personal staking dashboard
  • Stake and unstake interface
  • Reward information
  • Transaction status
  • Staking documentation
  • swyke validator profile

Total Budget and Staking Request

Development grant

We are requesting the equivalent of $20,000 in CFX.

The budget will be allocated as follows:

  • Backend and data integration: $8,000
  • Wallet and staking flows: $4,000
  • Frontend and dashboard: $4,000
  • Testing and deployment: $2,500
  • Documentation and launch: $1,500

Total development grant: $20,000

The grant will not be used to purchase CFX for sale, trading or speculation.

Validator staking request

In addition to the development grant, we are requesting 50 million CFX to be staked with a Conflux validator operated by swyke.

The staking allocation is separate from the $20,000 development grant.

The 50 million CFX would remain under the control of the Conflux Foundation or the relevant delegating entity. It would not be transferred to swyke, sold or used to fund development expenses.

The staking allocation would:

  • Support the launch of a professional Conflux validator
  • Increase the amount of CFX actively participating in staking
  • Make the validator sustainable from launch
  • Give users another professional staking option
  • Give stakereef direct access to validator and staking data
  • Support the long-term maintenance of the Conflux integration

The allocation would remain subject to Conflux Foundation requirements, validator performance requirements and any separate staking agreement.
